Cardiovascular diseases (CVDs) account for 33% of global mortality, primarily driven by vascular blockages that cause systemic complications such as stroke and myocardial infarction. To address this, we have developed catheter-deployable magnetic microrobots engineered for targeted thrombolysis. By leveraging external magnetic fields, these microrobots enhance localized drug penetration and accelerate clot degradation with precision. Initially focused on venous thromboembolism, this platform technology is designed to scale across additional CVDs, positioning it to disrupt the expansive global thrombosis therapeutics market.
